UNITE HERE 2850 members at Castlewood Country Club have agreed to pay $225/month for family medical coverage and take a wage freeze this year, making their proposal cheaper than management’s most recent proposal in the short term and cost neutral in the long term. Instead, Club management has slammed the door on its workers to intimidate them into paying $739/month for family medical coverage. For many workers, that costs almost two weeks worth of take home wages and is simply unaffordable. Workers are eager to get back to the jobs they enjoy and continue raising healthy families.

Donations to the Castlewood Locked Out Workers Hardship Fund are most appreciated.
